Mangrove Nursery

Last update is where the propagule starting to germinate root now, the root are getting longer as picture below remember that we have 4 medium which is a) saltwater, no substrate b) saltwater , sand substrate c) saltwater, seashell substrate d) saltwater, coconut fiber we added one more medium, (e) freshwater , no substrate. This medium (e) is to placed  propagule that have great damaged. picture above is propagule in the medium (a). for now, Medium (a) is the most suitable medium to cultivate the propagule. we still waiting for other medium, we hope to see more germinating of root or shoot. stay tune    

  good evening everyone.. Here are some product that we wanted to introduce. We have BSFL (black soldier fly larvae) that is live/dried and in powder form. this larvae is a very nutritious food that you can give to your animal. it have high protein, calcium and fat. this worm can consume on anything and have a short life cycle.  if you are livestock farmer and want to have a good quality of your livestock egg & meat, you can try  to mix BSFL power to your animal feed. some research show that the chicken egg are more sturdy and the meat of cow or goat are more tastier. as for animal pet, owner can try giving directly BSFL live worm or in dried form. the cost for this diet are more convenient than the traditional diet. also giving the animal gain in weight.  just hit the contact in the picture and start ordering have a nice day  

it is about 2 month in cultivating our red mangrove propagule. In the first month, we experiment on what suitable medium for the propagule to grow. firstly we separate into two medium which is saltwater with sand beach and freshwater with no substrate  but it kind of very slow progress. After 1 week in a half we found there were a lot of black dot ,the water has odor and the water is very cloudy or brackish water  . we thought that maybe the propagule want to sprout root and we wait again for another week. after that a small white soft root were germinating on some propagule as shown below after the germination of the root, we thinking of changing the substrate. So we divide it to 4 medium: a) saltwater, no substrate b) saltwater , sand beach substrate c) saltwater, seashell substrate d) saltwater, coconut fiber but after a week later,  some propagule in all medium especially medium (B) have changes where there a lot of purple-like fungus/slimy.  Have you ever thought on mangrove tree inside Aquarium?? here some inspo from google at first we thought that , it is impossible to put a big tree in an aquarium but some people do it. and the lighting making so beautiful. there are benefit to put mangrove inside aquarium the benefit are: 1) they absorb NO2 from your fish tank 2) provide more natural habitat for your fish and reef 3) also will foster good microorganism, algae, fungi to your tank 4) it also filter your water tank for us, if you have mangrove tree in your house, you are already carbon offsetting and making your home more "livable". in a world that focusing on sustainability, you are already helping the world to reduce carbon emission. also, you are creating a new sustainable habitat for your fish / reef tank.  right now we are collecting supply for making our own mangrove aquarium. stay update for our aquarium👀

WELCOME TO OCEAN GROVE NURSERY In our nursery, we plan to cultivate Red Mangrove Sapling. Since the world are talking about sustainability, we also want to contribute in our way to preserve our nature. we choosing mangrove because mangrove have more capacity on sequestered CO2 that is release in the atmosphere. We wanted to save and germinate Red Mangrove propagule that are stranded along the seashore. That why we wanted to build nursery to save this propagule, that may not have found a suitable environment for them to grow. After the propagule germinate and become sapling, we plant to sell it to local community that love reef tank. Mangrove in a reef/fish tank can neutralized the NO2 in the tank and giving habitat for the tank as in it own natural environment.
