Mangrove sapling project update 1

it is about 2 month in cultivating our red mangrove propagule. In the first month, we experiment on what suitable medium for the propagule to grow. firstly we separate into two medium which is saltwater with sand beach and freshwater with no substrate  but it kind of very slow progress. After 1 week in a half we found there were a lot of black dot ,the water has odor and the water is very cloudy or brackish water  . we thought that maybe the propagule want to sprout root and we wait again for another week. after that a small white soft root were germinating on some propagule as shown below

after the germination of the root, we thinking of changing the substrate. So we divide it to 4 medium:

a) saltwater, no substrate

b) saltwater , sand beach substrate

c) saltwater, seashell substrate

d) saltwater, coconut fiber

but after a week later,  some propagule in all medium especially medium (B) have changes where there a lot of purple-like fungus/slimy. After some reading and research, we conclude that maybe after we shifted the propagule into 4 medium the propagule experience stress in new condition.
